Professor Paul A Corris FRCP Dear Joan, Thank you very much indeed for your magnificent cheque which arrived in the office this morning. Can I say on behalf of all of us on the transplant team just how grateful we are for this level of support. As I am sure you understand the ISHLT (International Society for Heart & Lung Transplantation) annual meeting is the meeting where we can learn the most about heart and lung transplantation and everything that is going on in the world. To be able to take such a large number from Newcastle not only helps with the education of those who attend but is very good indeed for team building in the whole group. We are all very grateful indeed for the efforts you put into fundraising and hope to continue our close association with the Freeman Heart & Lung Transplant Association. Your sincerely, Professor Paul A Corris FRCP
