Margaret Smith, had her heart transplant 10 years ago at the Freeman hospital and her niece Haley decide to celebrate the occasion and raise funds for the FHLTA by running the Women's Glasgow 10K in May 2009. In a very creditable time of 1 hour 35 minutes and 4 seconds Hayley and her friend achieved the feat and raised the magnificent sum of £455.
