Pictured from left to right: Conor Kavanagh, Damien Duffy, Bob Boyd, The intrepid quintet ran the Belfast Marathon on 1st May 2006 and raised the magnificent sum of £2,005. Their employers, The Ulster Bank, who are owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland, added a further £1,000 bringing the grand total to £3,005 which has been donated to the FHLTA. Bob's wife Fiona, had a heart transplant at Freeman Hospital on 7th December 2005 and is making an excellent recovery. "I wanted to do something to recognise our appreciation of the work of the entire transplant team who have made such a difference to Fiona’s life. There are too many individuals or teams to mention individually but we appreciate that without the input of all involved such an operation could probably not take place", said Bob.
